Police Officers Roll Up Sleeves for Clean-Up Exercise at Regional Headquarters Pedu Junction

Officers of the Ghana Police Service at the Regional Headquarters, Pedu Junction in Cape Coast, today participated in a clean-up exercise in line with the Government of Ghana's directive to promote environmental sanitation across the country.

The exercise formed part of a nationwide effort aimed at improving cleanliness within public institutions and surrounding communities. Police personnel were seen sweeping, clearing weeds, collecting refuse, and ensuring that the premises of the Regional Police Headquarters and adjoining areas remained clean and conducive for work.

The initiative reflects the commitment of the Ghana Police Service to supporting government policies that seek to create a healthier and cleaner environment for citizens. Residents and motorists who passed through the area commended the officers for leading by example and contributing to the sanitation agenda.

Reporting during The Workshop morning show on TW Radio 88.9, Enoch Ato Nyamson highlighted the significance of the exercise and the active participation of officers in maintaining environmental cleanliness as part of their civic responsibility.
