A US - based Charity BOOC Organization Donates Desks to Eguafo-Abrem SHS as Part of Four-Year Educational Support Initiative
Bishop Lance Davis, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of BOOC Organization, a US-based organization focused on bringing the diaspora student community closer to the African student community through the exchange of learning experiences and shared situations, has announced an initiative to donate 1,000 desks every year to Senior High Schools in Ghana for the next four years.

According to Bishop Lance Davis, the donation, which will amount to 4,000 desks within the four-year period, will be carried out through the Ministry of Education for proper distribution to schools across the country.
As part of this year’s donation, Eguafo-Abrem Senior High School in the Central Region benefited from the initiative, receiving desks to support teaching and learning activities.
The CEO of BOOC Organization also met with some students and teachers of Eguafo-Abrem SHS at the Royal Ridge Hotel in Cape Coast, where they joined a Zoom meeting with diaspora students. The interaction provided an opportunity for students from both communities to share experiences, discuss educational challenges, and learn from one another.
Speaking to TW News, Bishop Lance Davis said the initiative is aimed at strengthening the relationship between African students and students in the diaspora while contributing to improving educational conditions in Ghana and this will go through the Ministry of Education for distribution.
One of the teachers of Eguafo-Abrem SHS, Miss Lydia Appah, expressed her appreciation for the support and explained that the donation will positively impact both students and teachers.
She encouraged BOOC Organization to continue undertaking more initiatives of this nature, stating that such support will help address some of the challenges facing the education sector in the country.
The organization reaffirmed its commitment to supporting education in Ghana while creating opportunities for meaningful engagement between students in Africa and the diaspora.
