Cedi buys at 11.04 to a dollar on Monday per BoG rate

Per the rate from the Bank of Ghana (BoG) on Monday, April 20, the Cedi was buying at 11.0445 to a dollar. It was selling at 11.0555.
The Pound was selling at 14.9730 and buying at 14.9891. The Euro was also buying at 13.0370 and selling at 13.0499.
On Friday the Cedi was buying at 11.0375 to a dollar.
It sold at 11. 0485 to a dollar.
The Pound was bought at 14.9293 and sold at 14.9453.
The Euro was bought at 12.9944 and sold at 13.0050.
Earlier, Governor of the Bank of Ghana (BoG), Dr Johnson Pandit Asiama, said that it was normal for the cedi to witness marginal depreciation.
When asked about the recent depreciation of the cedi during the 128th Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) press conference in Accra on Wednesday, January 28, Dr Asiama said, "Don't get worried if you see the cedi moving a little bit; it is normal. Speculative behaviour can move the cedi.
"It is more of a short-term kind of factor, but it will fall in line. We have announced a number of reforms."
