TW Radio’s DJ Omar Nominated for UCC SRC Best Student DJ of the Year Award

TW Radio’s own DJ Omar, known in private life as Theophilus Nii Gyan, has been nominated for the Best Student DJ of the Year category at the upcoming University of Cape Coast (UCC) Students’ Representative Council (SRC) Dinner and Awards Night.

DJ Omar, who is currently a Level 100 Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) History student at the University of Cape Coast, continues to make remarkable strides in the creative industry while pursuing his academic journey.

DJ Omar’s latest nomination adds to a growing list of recognitions he has received over the years. He has previously earned nominations at several award schemes, including the Innovative and Influencers and Excellence Awards (2nd Edition) in the Event DJ of the Year category, the Central High School Awards 2022 for Student DJ of the Year, the Central Entertainment and Business Awards for Youngest DJ of the Year, and the Central Music Awards in the Best Promoter – DJ category.

Among these nominations, DJ Omar secured his first major award at the Central High School Awards 2022, where he was crowned Student DJ of the Year.
