Africa’s biggest cultural exposé, Rhythms On Da Runway, is celebrating its 15th anniversary in grand style! Dubbed by the BBC as “Africa’s biggest cultural exposé,” the internationally acclaimed fashion and music event is set to take place on Saturday, December 6, at the historic Christiansborg Castle in Osu, Accra.
Organized by Nineteen57 Events in partnership with The Black Star Experience, this milestone edition promises to be bigger, bolder, and more fabulous than ever before, blending the best of African fashion, music, and artistry on one unforgettable night.
Over the past 15 years, Rhythms On Da Runway has become a premier platform for showcasing African creativity, heritage, and innovation through fashion and music. The event has consistently celebrated the continent’s diverse cultures while spotlighting designers, models, and performers from across Africa and the diaspora.
This year’s celebration will transform the Christiansborg Castle, one of Ghana’s most iconic historical sites into a runway of glitz, glam, and cultural pride. Guests can look forward to spectacular runway showcases from top designers, electrifying live performances, celebrity appearances, and a vibrant celebration of African excellence.
Founder and Executive Producer Kofi Okyere Darko (KOD), through Nineteen57 Events, continues to drive the event’s mission of elevating African fashion and creative arts to global prominence. The 15th edition is expected to attract high-profile guests, cultural icons, international media attention, and reiterating Ghana’s status as a hub for art, culture, and creative expression.
From its humble beginnings to becoming a continental brand, Rhythms On Da Runway remains a symbol of African resilience, elegance, and unity through fashion and music.
