Efforts to address the persistent water challenges in Cape Coast North have received a major boost as Lawyer Charles Walker’s 20 mechanised boreholes project officially gets underway.
The initiative, which seeks to improve access to safe and potable drinking water, is expected to benefit several communities, schools and healthcare facilities across the constituency.
As part of the project, the fifth mechanised borehole has been completed at Amamoma, near the University of Cape Coast (UCC), bringing potable water closer to residents and other members of the community.
The intervention forms part of a broader commitment to addressing water accessibility challenges and improving the living conditions of people within Cape Coast North.
With the project progressing, residents and institutions across the constituency are expected to benefit from a more reliable source of water, reducing the difficulties associate with accessing this essential resource.
The completion of the Amamoma borehole marks another step towards ensuring that safe drinking water is accessible to communities that need it most.
