Ghana High Commissioner Commends EMY Africa for Promoting Ghana’s Global Image

The Ghana High Commissioner to the United Kingdom and Ireland, H.E. Mrs. Sabah Zita Benson, has commended EMY Africa for its outstanding efforts in promoting Ghanaian excellence and strengthening the country's global image through impactful storytelling and world-class events.

The commendation came during a courtesy visit by the EMY Africa team, led by Chief Executive Officer Mr. Kojo Soboh, to the Ghana High Commission in London on Tuesday, 5 August 2026. The meeting followed EMY Africa's successful London soirée held over the weekend, which brought together distinguished personalities to celebrate excellence and foster connections within the Ghanaian diaspora.

Welcoming the delegation, H.E. Mrs. Benson praised the team for delivering what she described as an exceptional event, highlighting EMY Africa's unwavering commitment to telling Ghana's story with authenticity, pride, and excellence.

She reaffirmed the Ghana High Commission's commitment to supporting initiatives that celebrate the achievements of Ghanaians, elevate the country's international reputation, and create meaningful partnerships that project the best of Ghana on the global stage.

The High Commissioner noted that collaborations between diplomatic missions and private sector organisations such as EMY Africa are essential in advancing Ghana's cultural diplomacy and strengthening ties with the Ghanaian community abroad.
