Ekow Simpson and ZTA Discuss Collaboration to Elevate Destination Zambia

The Zambia Tourism Agency (ZTA) has taken another step toward expanding the country's digital tourism footprint by engaging Ghanaian content creator Ekow Simpson in discussions aimed at promoting Zambia to broader African and international audiences.

During a courtesy call with ZTA Management, the two parties explored opportunities for collaboration through digital storytelling and creative content production to showcase Zambia's diverse tourism offerings and inspire more travellers to experience the country. The meeting focused on leveraging the growing influence of digital creators in shaping travel decisions and increasing the visibility of destinations across global online platforms.

Speaking during the engagement, the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Zambia Tourism Agency highlighted the agency's flagship "Zambia Moves You" campaign, explaining that it reflects the unforgettable experiences visitors encounter through Zambia's breathtaking landscapes, vibrant culture, warm hospitality and rich heritage.

The Acting CEO noted that the campaign is designed to capture the emotional connection travellers develop with the destination, positioning Zambia as a place that leaves a lasting impression on everyone who visits. The discussions also emphasized the importance of digital storytelling in modern tourism marketing, with authentic content creators playing a vital role in reaching new audiences and encouraging experiential travel.
