Medeama SC has officially been crowned champions of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League after a commanding attacking display against Heart of Lions, who were beaten 5–2 at the TnA Stadium in Tarkwa.
With this victory, the Tarkwa-based club secures the title with one matchday to spare, taking a five-point lead over their closest challengers, Bibiani Gold Stars, who are now out of reach.
In a match that was one-sided at times, Medeama SC quickly took control, imposing their tempo and technical prowess. Roared on by their home supporters, the "Mauve and Yellow" showed remarkable attacking efficiency, exploiting every gap left by the opposition defense.
Their superiority resulted in a flurry of goals, allowing the champions to play their football with confidence and secure a comfortable, undisputed victory.
This title is a reward for a consistent and well-managed season under head coach Ibrahim Tanko. Tactical discipline, consistent results, and attacking efficiency have been the keys to success for the Tarkwa-based champions.
This performance also confirms the rise of Medeama SC, now firmly established among the most solid clubs in Ghanaian football.
