MP for Gomoa Central, Kwame Asare Obeng (kwameaplus), has led engineers and technical experts on a site tour of Yenku Forest to inspect the proposed artificial waterfall under the Block A Project.
The team also assessed how the area can accommodate additional attractions including a zipline, airstrip, sky bicycle, and other adventure experiences. Speaking during the tour, Mr. Obeng described the visit as the formal kick-off of the artificial waterfall project in Yenku Forest.
He said the initiative is a joint project between himself and Hon. Richard Gyan, MP for Gomoa West, in partnership with the President of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA). “Next year Easter Monday we’re coming here to commission the artificial waterfall,”_ Hon Asare Obeng stated.
The inspection forms part of the broader vision for the Gomoa Central Special Economic Zone (GCSEZ) — a flagship tourism initiative aimed at showcasing the area’s natural beauty, unlocking its eco-tourism potential, and creating over 60,000 jobs. Mr. Obeng said the project is expected to position Gomoa as a major tourism and investment hub in Africa
