EN.AR Limited has reaffirmed its commitment to the development of Cape Coast following a productive engagement with the General Assembly of the Cape Coast Metropolitan Assembly (CCMA), where the company was invited to present updates on the transformative Bakano Resort Project.

The hearing provided an opportunity for EN.AR Limited to share the journey, progress, and future vision of a project that seeks to redefine leisure, recreation, tourism, and entertainment in Cape Coast while creating significant economic opportunities for residents and businesses within the metropolis.

This latest engagement follows an earlier series of consultations involving the leadership of CCMA, the Paramountcy of the Oguaa Traditional Area, Assembly Members, traditional authorities, and key community stakeholders. Those discussions played a pivotal role in shaping the project and ensuring that community interests remained at the heart of its development.

One of the major outcomes of those engagements was the successful completion of the Akom Grounds, a community-centered addition to the project that was developed in response to stakeholder recommendations. The facility now serves as a testament to what can be achieved when private investment, traditional leadership, and local government work together towards a common goal.

Despite this progress, the broader Bakano Resort Project has experienced delays over the past two years due to challenges relating to the removal of unauthorized and dilapidated structures within the project area. These structures continue to impede access to portions of the development site and have significantly slowed progress on subsequent phases of the project.

Addressing the General Assembly, EN.AR Limited emphasized that the Bakano Resort Project remains one of the most ambitious private-sector investments in Cape Coast's tourism and hospitality sector. Upon completion, the project is expected to create hundreds of direct and indirect employment opportunities, stimulate local enterprise, enhance tourism activity, and provide modern facilities that will benefit both residents and visitors.

The company therefore appealed for the continued support of the Assembly and all stakeholders in facilitating the next phase of development. EN.AR expressed confidence that with collective action and renewed commitment, the project can move beyond its current challenges and deliver the transformative impact envisioned for the people of Cape Coast.

At EN.AR Limited, we believe development succeeds when communities are carried along every step of the journey. Our vision remains unchanged—to create a destination that celebrates the rich culture of Oguaa, promotes sustainable tourism, drives economic growth, and provides opportunities for future generations. We extend our sincere appreciation to the Mayor, Presiding Member, Honourable Assembly Members, traditional leaders, and all stakeholders who continue to support this vision. Together, we are building more than a resort; we are helping shape a stronger, more vibrant future for Cape Coast
