TW Radio 88.9 Collaborates with Root End Medical Center for Free Health Screening at Elimina

On 17 March 2026, TW Radio 88.9 partnered with Root End Medical Center to host a free health screening program at Elimina. The initiative aimed to provide accessible healthcare services to the local community and raise awareness about preventive health measures.

The program offered a wide range of services including free health screenings, laboratory tests, and medication. Patients underwent tests for typhoid, syphilis, HIV, blood pressure, blood sugar, malaria, HBsAg, and HCV, alongside scans for the kidney, liver, and prostate.

Over the course of the event, 50 patients were screened, with 70 individual tests conducted. Including scans and consultations, the program successfully reached over 100 people, demonstrating the impact and importance of such community health initiatives.

TW Radio 88.9 played an active role in supporting the event, ensuring our presence was visible through branding, staging our flags, and creating a vibrant atmosphere that highlighted the collaboration and reinforced our commitment to community engagement.
