As Ghanaians watch the Black Stars play in the ongoing 2026 World Cup, the Director-General of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID), DCOP Lydia Donkor, has reminded Ghanaians to be security-conscious.
She urged them to remain security-conscious in their homes, communities, and public spaces.
In a post on her X page, she cautioned that people should avoid disorder and report any suspicious activity.
"Victory tastes sweeter when a nation believes. Congratulations to our beloved Black Stars on today's victory.
"Thank you for the determination, resilience, and pride you displayed on the pitch.
"As we celebrate, let us do so responsibly and remain security-conscious in our homes, communities, and public spaces.
"Watch out for one another, avoid disorder, and report any suspicious activity. Celebrate the win. Protect the peace. Ghana first," she said.
