Group Nduom, led by CEO Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom, held a thanksgiving service on Sunday, May 24, 2026, as part of the company’s return following the restoration of GN Bank’s license.

Speaking at the service, Dr. Nduom said GN Bank was built on a foundation of faith and described the development as a new beginning for the institution. He urged staff and management to uphold professionalism, sincerity, and honesty in their duties to prevent a recurrence of past challenges.

He added that the company is awaiting a certified copy of the court’s judgment before officially submitting it to the Bank of Ghana. Dr. Nduom also highlighted the condition of the bank’s assets after seven years of closure. He said many of the abandoned offices nationwide had been vandalized, with tools, gadgets, and more than 300 official vehicles lost to theft prior to the 2024 elections.

He further alleged that GN Bank properties in Mankessim were auctioned by private individuals without a court order. According to the plan outlined by management, operations will resume with 10 to 12 branches, beginning with the Elmina branch at the Mensah Brown Apartment. Cleanup and maintenance work at the Elmina premises are scheduled to start on Monday.
