Ghana and Kenya qualify for the WBSC Youth Baseball5 World Cup 2025

They defeated South Africa (2-0) and Tunisia in the semifinal and will compete for the title. Zimbabwe placed fifth. Ghana and Kenya won the semifinals of the WBSC Africa Youth Baseball5 World Cup Qualifier and qualified for the WBSC Youth Baseball5 World Cup 2025.


The first match saw South Africa, buoyed by passionate home support, take on Ghana. Despite their efforts, South Africa fell in two sets, unable to contain Ghana's sharp play. In the second semi-final,


Tunisia and Kenya clashed in an intense three-set thriller. Tunisia pushed Kenya to the edge, but the latter proved too strong, securing their place in the final. Ghana will face Kenya for the Youth Baseball5 African Championship, while South Africa and Tunisia will play for third place. 


Zimbabwe beat Lesotho in the fifth place game, 11-7, 17-2.
